Napa Valley, California – Beaucanon Estate releases their long awaited 2009 vintage Sauvignon Blanc. Looking to recreate the family’s success in Bordeaux, this Sauvignon Blanc is comprised of three special clones from the family’s vineyard in the Region, and also grown in Napa, on the family’s Longwood Ranch vineyard. These clones add a complexity and a wonderful bouquet to this California Sauvignon Blanc.

This food-friendly wine contains grapes from the high altitudes of Napa, making for both a delicate and intense wine. Noticeable are aromas of tropical fruit, flowers and a hint of fresh grass, combined with fig and melon flavors.

With its vibrant acid and rich flavors, this wine will drink well now, however, this wine also has the patience to gracefully age for 2-4 years. “Noyer dans l’alcool!”

Napa Valley, California – Beaucanon Estate has announced the release of their 2008 Chardonnay. This vintage is made up of grapes from their old vines, which went into the production of this deep and structured Estate Chardonnay.
The Award Winning Beaucanon Estate 2008 Chardonnay is an extremely versatile wine. The palate is full-bodied and rich, with a hint of lemon acidity and subtle oak. Through decanting the wine, hints of the oak are noticed in the rich caramel, rosemary and limestone, which will continue to develop over time. This chardonnay can be enjoyed on its own, or paired with shellfish, such as scallops, fresh crab in lemon butter or Lobster Thermidor. It also contrasts well with Asian cuisine, seafood, as well as roast chicken and pork.

Grown, Produced and Bottled at Beaucanon Estate in Napa Valley, the Estate Chardonnay is sourced from premium grapes grown on Beaucanon’s rolling vineyards of Napa Valley, which produce smaller berries with more intense flavors. This wine encompasses a pale gold hue, with a hint of sweet vanilla and tropical bouquet of ripe pineapple, tangerine and coconut.

This youthful wine is a mixture of blackberries and fruit, a generous dash of oak, and subtle aromas of smoke, tea and violets. The 2005 Cabernet Franc is an example of the growing maturity of Beaucanon’s plantings – complex and bold on the palate, with prominent acid tannins that ensure a long cellar life of 10+ years. Abundant red and black fruit flavors, vanilla, and cinnamon spice promise an incredible reward for your patience.

With a little breathing in a decanter, the Cabernet Franc will release delicate notes of red cherry, lavender and mineral earth, adding depth and interest. Youthful acidity plays up a palate of berries and savory flavors while velvety tannins build as acidity fades, carrying the flavors through to a long finish. Aged in Toasted French oak, this flexible wine drinks well now and will age beautifully for 20 years.
